Homeland Security Award
Program Description
A single $25,000 award will be presented by AgustaWestland North American, one of the worlds largest helicopter manufacturers, to an individual or company working on a "cutting edge" innovation in one of the following fields: Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Chemical and Explosive Attacks; Border and Transportation Security; Emergency Responses to Natural and Man-Made Disasters; Cyber Security and Information Sharing; and Other. These fields are used solely for categorizing Nominations. The winner may be chosen from any of the fields.
General Program Requirements
In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a US citizen or company and be permitted by their employer or any other relevant authority to accept a $25,000 award bestowed by the Christopher Columbus Fellowship Foundation, a Federal government agency. The winner must attend the award ceremony in Washington, D.C. on a date to be determined to receive the award.
