Alaska Summer Food Service
Program Description
The Summer Food Service program provides free, nutritious meals and snacks to help Alaska children in low-income areas get the nutrition they need to learn, play, and grow, throughout the summer months when they are out of school.
General Program Requirements
In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a resident of the State of Alaska, your household's annual income before taxes must not exceed $21,516 if one person lives in the household; $28,879 if two people live in the household; $36,242 if three people live in the household; $43,605 if four people live in the household; $50,968 if five people live in the household; $58,331 if six people live in the household; $65,694 if seven people live in the household; $73,057 if eight people live in the household. For larger households, add $7,363 for each additional person in the home.
