California Summer Food Service
Program Description
The California Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is a Federally funded program that reimburses agencies for providing nutritious meals to children 18 years or age and younger. The program operates during periods when school is not in session for 15 continuous school days.
General Program Requirements
In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a resident of the State of California, your household's annual income before taxes must not exceed $17,224 if one person lives in the household; $23,107 if two people live in the household; $28,990 if three people live in the household; $34,873 if four people live in the household; $40,756 if five people live in the household; $46,639 if six people live in the household; $52,522 if seven people live in the household; $58,405 if eight people live in the household. For larger households, add $5,883 for each additional person in the home.
