Connecticut Summer Food Service
Program Description
Just as learning does not end when school lets out, neither does the need for good nutrition. Children who aren't hungry learn better, act better and feel better. The Connecticut Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) helps eligible children get the nutrition they need during the summer.
General Program Requirements
In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a resident of the State of Connecticut, your household's annual income before taxes must not exceed $17,224 if one person lives in the household; $23,107 if two people live in the household; $28,990 if three people live in the household; $34,873 if four people live in the household; $40,756 if five people live in the household; $46,639 if six people live in the household; $52,522 if seven people live in the household; $58,405 if eight people live in the household. For larger households, add $5,883 for each additional person in the home.
