Federal TRIO Program: Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program

Program Description
The McNair Program provides grants for institutions of higher education and combinations of those institutions to prepare low-income, first-generation college students and students underrepresented in graduate education for graduate study.

General Program Requirements
In order to qualify for this benefit program, participants must be currently enrolled in a degree program at an institution of higher education and a low-income individual who is a first-generation college student or a member of a group that is underrepresented in graduate education.

Note: Grants are made to institutions of higher education only.
