Low Income Taxpayer Clinic

Program Description
The purpose of this program is to issue matching grants to organizations providing: (1) Representation of low-income taxpayers in controversies with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), or (2) programs to inform individuals for whom English is a second language about their tax rights and responsibilities.

General Program Requirements
In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must need income tax information and return preparation assistance, you must not speak English fluently, and you must characterize your financial situation as low income or very low income .
