Connecticut Weatherization Assistance Program
Program Description
The Weatherization Assistance Program was established to help low-income families and individuals decrease their home energy costs and to be attentive to energy-related health and safety issues in the home. The Weatherization Assistance Program of Connecticut is administered by the Department of Social Services.
General Program Requirements
In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a resident of the State of Connecticut, your household's annual income before taxes must not exceed $18,620 if one person lives in the household; $24,980 if two people live in the household; $31,340 if three people live in the household; $37,700 if four people live in the household; $44,060 if five people live in the household; $50,420 if six people live in the household; $56,780 if seven people live in the household; and $63,140 if more than seven people live in the household.
