Oregon Low Income Home Assistance Program (LIEAP)
Program Description
The Oregon Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) is a Federally funded program through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. LIEAP is an assistance program designed to help low income households with home heating costs.
General Program Requirements
In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a resident of the State of Oregon, you must need financial assistance for home energy costs and your household's annual income before taxes must not exceed $18,237 if one person lives in the household; $23,966 if two people live in the household; $29,604 if three people live in the household; $35,243 if four people live in the household; $40,882 if five people live in the household; $46,521 if six people live in the household, or $47,578 if seven people live in the household. For larger households, add $1,057 for each additional person in the home.
