A Reward For Teachers And Their Achievements
School teachers and principals can also be paid based on performance
Normally, seeing their students succeed is reward enough for teachers, regardless of how much they get in return. Honoring this noble act is the Teacher Incentive Fund.
This fund plays the part of enticing teachers and principals alike to render services to schools with very low staff. In return, teachers and principals are paid based on their individual performance and achievements. This also inspires teaching effectiveness and leadership, filling in positions for hard-to-staff schools and their subjects for various audience types.
The teacher and principal performance is measured through student development and achievements, also through multiple classroom evaluations during each school year.
Eligible applicants are local education agencies (LEAs) including charter schools, State education agencies (SEAs), or partnerships of LEAs and SEAs, all with a participating non-profit organization.
Awards range from about $300,000 to $5,000,000.
