Save Money in 66 Ways
Money-saving brochure will guide you through the New Year
If one of your New Year's resolutions is to cut down on your expenses, or if you're just on the lookout for ways to save money on products or services, you can check out the 66 Ways to Save Money brochure from the Federal Citizen Information Center (FCIC) and the non-profit Consumer Federation of America (CFA).
66 Ways to Save Money gives concrete advice on watching your dollar and how to avoid fraudulent transactions--whether you are buying a house, shopping for appliances, paying for insurance, taking out a loan, or even making funeral arrangements.
The brochure is available online for free and in print for a very low price, in both English and Spanish. A free online copy is available at www.66ways.org. The 66 Ways to Save Money brochure was developed by a working group of representatives from government agencies, consumer groups, business organizations, and educational institutions that wanted to educate consumers on how to save money. The project was overseen by the Consumer Federation of America (CFA). Nearly two million copies of the brochure have already been requested for the past decade.
